Gail L. Sniff, 85, of Smithville passed away on Wednesday, March 7, 2018 at her home.
She was born April 26, 1932 in Wayne County, the daughter of John E. and Mabel Johnson Blough.
She was a homemaker and had previously worked at Frito-Lay, and was a member of the Smithville Brethren Church.
Gail enjoyed quilting, cross-stitching, and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
Surviving are her husband, Walter Sniff, whom she married on September 1, 1951; children, Robert (Margaret) Sniff of Marshallville, Linda Lilley of Smithville, and Tom (Alyce) Sniff of Pawleys Island, S.C.; grandchildren, Tyler, Adam, Jacob, Matthew and Sara Sniff, Rachel Lawrence and James Lilley; 4 great-grandchildren and her twin brother Dale (Millie) Blough of Wooster.
Gail was preceded in death by her parents; a grandchild Andrew Lilley and siblings Twila Neff, Rose Atland, Dick Blough and Ray Blough.
Friends will be received one hour prior to the 11 A.M. service on Monday, March 12, 2018 at the Smithville Brethren Church, 193 E. Main St., Smithville, OH 44677 with Rev. Art Carr officiating.   Private interment will be in Sherwood Memorial Gardens.
McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster, is assisting the family.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to LifeCare Hospice, 1900 Akron Rd., Wooster, OH 44691.
