My thoughts and prayers are with you all during this time.

Sending prayers to family and friends as well as the whole community. my hearts hurting for you all.

Thoughts and prayers are with your family during this time. So sad, Gavin was such a wonderful boy.

I was Gavin’s fourth grade math teacher and his current 6th math teacher. I will always remember and cherish his sincere, delightful smile. I loved seeing Gavin every day in school. I will miss him greatly!!

I was Gavin’s 4 th grade homeroom teacher at Cornerstone. His smiling face and inquisitive mind brought a smile to everyone every day. I will miss him dearly and my thoughts and prayers go out to Aurora and his family.

I, like so many others in Gavin's school, was devasted to hear of his passing. My twin boys were classmates of Gavin. Although he didn't know him well, my
son said that Gavin saw the good in everything. We talked about how that would be a beautiful on going tribute to Gavin, if we all tried to notice the good in everything and in
everybody. Wrapping the family and his school community in love, light and healing prayer.

My deepest sympathy to the family and friends of Gavin. I absolutely loved and adored Gavin and I will forever miss his beautiful smile and always cheerful personality.

I'm so very sorry for your lose! I was Gavin's current 6th grade ELA teacher. I will miss his beautiful smile and kind, caring personality. My thoughts and prayers to all his friends and family!!

My family and I send our deepest sympathy to you and your family on the passing of Gavin. His beautiful smile will live on in everyone's heart that knew him. May God's loving arms wrap you in comfort during your time of sorrow.

Your family is in my thoughts and prayers. I am so sorry for your loss. He will be greatly missed.

Our daughter had recently met Gavin during science class. She was in his group and said that all she can think about is his bright smile. They had been working on making papier-mâché together only a few days ago. She is so sad that she didn’t have more time to get to know him better. She told me he was always trying to make others laugh, he will be deeply missed.

You all have truly been in my thoughts and prayers this weekend. I cannot even imagine what you are going through but hope that you can find some solace in knowing how many lives Gavin touched and how much he will be missed by his classmates, friends, teachers and everyone who was fortunate enough to know him.

My prayers to all of the family for this terrible loss.

So very sorry for your loss. Saddened to see such a young soul taken. Gavin and my son had class together, he is deeply sadden by his death. He said Gavin was always nice and Just Thursday let him borrow his book. He wishes they were given more time to grow a friendship.

Thoughts and prayers to a sweet child gone too soon.

My son is a 7th grader at Edgewood, and though he wasn’t fortunate enough to really know Gavin, we are so saddened by this. We pray that God will wrap his arms around you and comfort you during this difficult time and in the days and years to come.

Gavin's smile will forever remain as a symbol of encouragement and strength. I remember his kindergarten and first grade years at Lincoln Way as he grew stronger each week and through it all he had a smile and always a look of determination! The sweetest part was how Aurora would check in on him to make sure he was okay or just to say "hi". When we moved to Cornerstone together we would often see each other in the hallways and he always gave a thumbs up and his smile would brighten my day! Prayers for all, Mrs. Fleming

Jeremiah 29:13 You will seek me and find me, when you seek me with all your heart. I first met Gavin approximately 2 years ago when he moved into the Chippewa local school district and came to our after-school Good News Club for the very first time. Upon my sharing the gospel with the club, Gavin immediately came forward to accept Jesus as his Lord and Savior. I had the absolute honor and privilege to pray with Gavin that day. He admitted that he was a sinner and that he would like to accept Jesus's forgiveness of sins and place his full trust in Jesus Christ Alone. I had the honor of watching him grow in Christ and begin being bussed to our local partnering Church by the church bus. He did always have a smile on his face! We here at Chippewa local schools are absolutely devastated to hear of his loss. He was very well established here, and had many friends who loved him! However, I have absolutely no doubt that my God knew how short Gavin's days would be here on this Earth, and sent him to hear the gospel that day and accept Jesus as his Lord and Savior. And I also have no doubt that he is in the arms of Jesus today. We love you, Gavin. We are praying for ALL those affected by his loss.

I am the School Nurse and had the privilege of knowing Gavin at Cornerstone when he was little and then again these past 2 years. He was a dear young man! It was always good to see him and his sweet ways. We are devastated at the loss along with you! Many prayers for your family are being like lifted night and day. I am out of state today and unable to come, but hope to be able to attend tomorrow to share condolences. May God grant you strength in the days ahead.

My son, Benji, was a classmate with Gavin. They had several classes together and Benji considered him a good friend and is deeply saddened by this sudden loss. Your family is in our prayers.

We are devastated for your loss. Will is a 6th grader at EDGEWOOD and although did not know Gavin well, he was known for his smile. We
Are praying for you to know the love of God in this nearly impossible time and want you to know the
So many of your community and Gavin’s classmates are holding you up.

Sending prayers and luv cuz....trina and kids

My heartfelt condolences to your family. Words cannot bring your precious child back but know that there are so many people sharing your pain. I didn't know your Gavin, nor you, but as a mom and grandma my heart aches with you.

My son Braylen is a 6th grade student at Edgewood and he had Language arts with Gavin. He said he will always remember Gavin's smile. He told us that Gavin was always smiling. We are very sad and our prayers and thoughts go out to his family and friends!

Many prayers and hugs to the family for these next few days will be really tough. Please know that many people knew and loved Gavin for his smile and his kindness. I have been a substitute teacher for Wooster and will always remember his smile. Rest In Peace Gavin will miss you
