Please accept our deepest condolences for your loss. I enjoyed the time spent working with Gene and then with Steve over the years at Rubbermaid.

Deepest sympathies to Gene's family. Great memories of Gene and Doris as we were raising our families together. This couple were my school friends many years ago. Gene's parents had the store in Lattasburg and they had one of the few TV's when they were first introduced in the 40's. Gene often had me come and watch wrestling with him on the TV. Many fond memories. He will be missed.

I am saddened to learn of Gene's passing. My condolences to his family.

To Sharon, Steve and Rick, Very sorry to hear about your dad's passing. I have many great memories of him coaching our baseball teams, Steve. He made it fun! When I think of him, I smile, Prayers are being sent your way.

I remember Gene delivering gasoline to my Dad on the farm when I was a kid at home. Then We went to church with him & Doris at Emanuel church. He would stop and say he had a pie plate in the back seat and to give him a call when it was filled with a ground cherry pie. When he could no longer drive, he would call me and ask me to drop one off to him. He said he cut it in pieces & froze it so it would last longer. He & my dad went coon hunting together too. He will be missed by many.

Rick and Cathy and families
We are sorry to learn of your dad’s passing. I often saw him taking his daily walk and missed seeing him when he was no longer able to do that. We were blessed to have our dad’s for so long. May your wonderful memories sustain you and give you peace. Hugs and prayers, Joni and Greg
