WOOSTER “ Gerry V. McMillan, 85, of Wooster passed away on Sunday, June 18, 2017 at her home.
She was born August 17, 1931 in Wooster the daughter of William T. and Julia L. Miller Leightner.   She married Charles W. McMillan, Sr. on November 11, 1950.   He preceded her in death.
Gerry had been a secretary at Kean and Melrose Schools for 28 years retiring in 1994.   She was a member of the Wooster United Methodist Church.   She enjoyed reading, yard work, spending time with family, walking and traveling.
Gerry is survived by her children, Charles W. œBill  Jr. (Eva) McMillan and Jackie (Ron) Krajcik both of Wooster and Linda (Dr. Kim) Stevelt of Logan; grandchildren, Tracy Roscoe, Greg (Jessica) McMillan, Zack Krajcik, Matthew Roscoe, Kelly (Jesse Cantrell) Stevelt, Josh Krajcik, Jenny (Gaetano) Bremenour and Dr. Kristy (Chad Mitchell) Stevelt; 14 great-grandchildren; brothers, Donald (Jean) Leightner of Rootstown and Richard (Josie) Leightner of Fredericksburg, Virginia, and several Nieces and Nephews.
In addition to her husband and parents she was preceded in death by a great-granddaughter Haley,  and a sister Patricia Leightner.
There will be no calling hours and private family services will be held.
McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster is assisting the family.
