Skip, Debbie, Bonnie, Bob, Audrey and families:

To Skip and Family,
Words cannot express my love and respect for Dean. Aside from being a responsible, reliable and valued colleague at TESC during most of my 17 years as the Director of Operations and Programs, he was my buddy as we worked together on a daily basis. I consider him one of my very best friends who never had anything negative to say about anyone. I will forever cherish the countless memories of his exceptional services to schools throughout Ashland, Holmes and Wayne counties. His smile and compassion touched the lives of thousands of educators and students alike as he traveled to each district each week for nearly three decades. I loved him and will miss him.
May God bless and comfort you and your family in his passing, and may you always rejoice in his memory.
Shared with deepest sympathy,
Rich and Linda Thomas

Our family has been very blessed to have known n loved Dean,Grandpa Halfhill !! Hugs to all the family ♡

I want to express my deepest sympathy to Dean's family. I came to know Dean when I served as principal at Holmesville Elementary. Dean was always so friendly had a smile on his face. I truly am sorry for your loss.

To the Dean Halfhill Family,
Thinking of you with deepest sympathy. I had the pleasure of working with Dean for 20 years as Fine Arts Consultant for the Wayne County Schools, Ashland-Wayne County Schools and Tri-County Educational Service Center. Dean was a wonderful co-worker and I know how much work I created for him hauling children’s artwork and culture trunks to the schools and lugging choral risers and equipment for countywide music events like the Children’s Chorus Concerts, Solo & Ensemble Festival, Holmes County Festival of the Arts and many more. Dean was so “easy-going” and never complained. He truly was a joy to work with. My thoughts and prayers are with you all at this difficult time of loss.

Gary DeVault
Retired Fine Arts Consultant
Tri-County ESC

I worked with your husband/father for nearly 15 years at the ESC. He was the nicest man and always so kind and helpful. May your memories of him comfort you in this time of sorrow

Your family is in my thoughts and prayers at this time of your loss. As Director of Fine Arts, I worked with your husband/father/grandfather in the Wayne County School office (1977-1990). Dean was consistently nice and cooperative. He never complained about the extra work the music and art programs demanded of him. I remember him with fondness and a smile.

Skip, Debbie, Bonnie, Bob, Audrey and families:

My prayers are with you in the loss of Dean. The Lord will provide comfort and strength during this time and always. You have my deepest sympathy, Burt's daughter, Lori

Mike, Bonnie & family, we are so very sorry to hear of your loss. We just ask God to give you the peace and comfort that only he can give at this very difficult time. God bless.
