Harold D. “Dean” Chaney, 61, of Shreve died Sunday, February 18, 2018 at Wooster Community Hospital.
He was born April 4, 1956 in Coshocton to Harold J. and Elizabeth “Stella” Miner Chaney.
Dean was a mechanic at Red Ferris Chevrolet and served his country in the Navy as a Boiler Technician.
He is survived by his daughters Lisa (Tim) Davis of Fredericksburg and Laura Chaney of Akron; grandsons Elijah Dean Davis, Christian Scott Davis and Liam Parker Davis; siblings Deb Hutchinson of Akron, Lee Chaney of Shreve and Ed (Terry) Chaney of Burghill and his ex-wife and best friend Debbie Markley-Chaney of Wooster.
A Service of Remembrance will be held on Sunday, March 4, 2018 at 4:00 PM at McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster.
There will be no calling hours.
