Harry J. Bennett, 78, of Wooster passed away Sunday, August 28, 2022 at his residence.

He was born March 12, 1944 in Wooster to Kermit and Linda Morgan Bennett.  In 1980, Harry married Ilene M. Weirich.  She survives.

Harry served his country with the United States Army and worked for Norton Company for over 20 years, then for Smithville Manufacturing until he retired.  He enjoyed building model airplanes and boats, woodworking and painting. Harry always enjoyed celebrating Halloween.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by a daughter Juanita (Michael) Graham of Rittman; step son Brian Brown of Mansfield; grandchildren Mackenzie and Adam Graham.

Harry was preceded in death by his parents, a brother Richard Bennett.

No services will be held at this time.

  1. So Sorry for your loss. I worked with Harry at Smithville Manufacturing. I liked him a lot. we laughed a lot and he was so friendly. I know he with be missed. I use to see him at the sale at the fairgrounds ease year in May. I will miss seeing him there.
