Helen Thomas Randall, 89, of Wooster and formerly of Mount Laurel, NJ, died Friday August 21, 2009 at Wayne County Care Center.
She was born August 11, 1920 in Pottstown, PA, daughter of the late Barton K. and Florence (Nichols) Thomas.
Helen was a graduate of the Philadelphia Conservatory of Music and a life long piano teacher as well as being a homemaker. She was a member of the South Jersey Music Teachers Association and Haddonfield Symphony Auxiliary.
Surviving are sons Duncan M. Randall of Voorhees, NJ and Bob (Bobbie) Randall of Wooster, OH; grandchildren Jake Hammond, Nick Randall and Suzanne Randall; great-granddaughters Maya and Kyla Hammond and sister Elizabeth Wiekel of Pennsburg, PA.
Along with her parents, Helen was preceded in death by her husband Robert D.M. Randall in 1990 and a brother Edmund Thomas.
A memorial service will be held at Wayne County Care Center 876 S. Geyers Chapel Road, Wooster on Sunday August 30 at 2pm with Rev. Robin Meyers officiating. Therapy dogs are welcome at the service.
