WOOSTER “ Henry J. œHank  Drown, 79, of Wooster passed away at LifeCare Hospice on Tuesday, August 22, 2017.
He was born February 20, 1938 in Wooster, the son of Henry R. and Pearl Marie Christopher Drown.   He married M. Leana Richardson on January 3, 1958.   She survives.
He was a pipeline welder with Local 798.   Hank was a member of the Ripley Church of Christ and was a member of the Elks.
Hank proudly served his country with the U.S. Navy.
In addition to his wife, Leana, he is survived by his children, David L. (Tammy) Drown of Loudonville, Jennie L. (Terry) Cramlett of Big Prairie and Mark H. Drown of Creston; 9 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; a brother Richard (Ingrid) Drown of Wooster and a sister, Marge Fisher of Orrville.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a daughter, Carrie M. Sullivan and siblings, Frances Kline, Carol Becker and Peggy Drown.
Friends will be received at the McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster on Thursday, August 24, 2017 from 5-8:00 p.m.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, August 25, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at the Ripley Church of Christ, 12298 Co. Rd. 330, Big Prairie with Pastor Tom Benter officiating.   Burial will be in the Ripley Church Cemetery.
