WOOSTER “ Howard P. Sigler, 88, of Wooster passed away on Monday, April 9, 2018 at LifeCare Hospice.
He was born February 28, 1930 in Wayne County, the son of Harry James and Zelpha Etzweiler Sigler.   He married Zelma Woodruff on September 27, 1953.   She survives.
He retired in 1991 as a press operator at International Paper after 38 years of employment.   Howard was a member of the Fairview United Methodist Church.   Howard loved hunting, fishing, working on lawn mowers, cutting and splitting wood and spending time outdoors with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.   He loved his dog, Scotty.
Surviving in addition to his wife are his children, Paul (Marty) Sigler and Tony (Karl Ruth) Sigler both of Wooster, Tracy (Linda Phillips) Sigler of Jeromesville and Bonnie (Clayton) Burkhart of Shreve; grandchildren, Jared (Stacey) Sigler, Andrea (Aaron) Bieniek, Ryan (Hanna) Sigler, Travis (Tori) Sigler, Brandy (Brandon) Brugger and Heather Burkhart, 7 great-grandchildren and his siblings, Bernice Lisle of Wooster, Opal Croskey of Shreve, Bessie Yacapraro of Coshocton, Helen Weltmer of Fredericksburg, Margaret Sigler of Wooster and Lemoine Sigler of Wooster.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Robert, Clifford, Roy, Kenneth and Donald Sigler.
There will be no calling hours or services.
McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster is assisting the family.
