WOOSTER – Hubert E. JOHNSON, 65 of Wooster, died Friday, May 16, 2008 at his home.
Calling hours will be Monday, May 19 from 2-4 PM at the McIntire, Davis & Greene Funeral Home.
There will be no funeral service held.
Born October 27, 1942 in West Virginia, he was the son of Harvey and Clarabell Anderson Johnson, Sr..
He was a retired foreman and crain operator for Wooster Iron and Metal. He was a guitar player and loved going out on Saturday nights to play. He played with a band called Sheila and the Ramblin Rebbles. He was an avid horseshoe pitcher winning many championships.
He will be sadly missed by his family and special friends Jim and Sissy Blankenship, Sheila and Larry Pyle, Gerry Conners and Tina Thiel.
Surviving are daughters, Annette Johnston of Wooster, Samantha (Tim) Mullis of Wooster, and son, Richard Ammon of Wooster, 9 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, brothers, James Johnson and Ralph Johnson both of Millwood, sisters, Arlene Jenkins of Coshocton, Mildred Nicholson of WV, Helen Giauque of South Dakota, Silvia Johnson of WV, June Ramsey of Wooster, number of nieces & nephews and dearest friend to the family Hope Clark..
Preceeded in death by his wife Shirley Henry Johnson in 1998, brothers Eli, Harvey,Jr., Roger Lee and a sister Birdie.
