WOOSTER “ Ivan Dale Mosier, 91, of Wooster passed away on Wednesday, December 5, 2018 at West View Healthy Living.
He was born May 8, 1927 in Congress Twp., the son of Howard and Lois Angling Mosier.   He married Vivian Hoffman on May 28, 1949.   She preceded him in Death on September 19, 2006.
Ivan was a salesman and had been the owner of Magic City Candy.   He was a handyman, enjoyed carpentry work, playing cards, golf and spending winters in Florida.
He proudly served his country with the US Navy during WWII.
Surviving are his children, Dale (Elaine) Mosier of Wooster, Teresa (Dick) Conrad of Sterling, Peggy (Fred) Gilbert of Wooster and Janet (J.T.) Taylor of Cincinnati; 10 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren; a sister, Virginia Hitchcock of Shreve and a brother, Pat Mosier of Killbuck.
In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by 6 brothers and 3 sisters.
Friends will be received at the McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster on Wednesday, December 12, 2018 from 6-8:00 p.m.
Private graveside services will be held at the Smithville Cemetery.
