WOOSTER – Jack L. MEREDITH, SR., 69, of Wooster, died Monday, July 14, 2008 in Wooster Community Hospital.
Friends will be received at the McIntire, Davis & Greene Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill Street, Wooster, OH, on Thursday evening from 4-8:00 P.M.
Services will be held at the Parkview Church of Christ, 1912 Burbank Rd., Wooster on Friday, July 18, 2008, at 11:00 A.M. with the Rev’s. Dean Hammond and Gary Pettyjohn officiating. Interment will follow in Wooster Cemetery.

Born April 11, 1939 in Shahbona, IL, he was the son of Harry Elston and Helen McGrew Meredith.
He was a co-founder of Universal Well Services in 1980 and retired in 2004. He had previously worked for Halliburton from 1959 to 1980. Member of the Parkview Church of Christ and a member of the Gnat Boxers Square Dance Club..
Surviving are his wife, Mary J. Brewer Meredith whom he married May 29, 1959; his children Jackie L. Meredith, Jr. of Wooster, Steve (Ruth) Meredith of Shreve, Stephanie Meredith of Minneapolis, MN and Amy Meredith of Wooster; grandchildren Danny (Darcy) Yarnell, Jillian Yarnell and Kelsey Yarnell; sisters, Linda Hudson of Lakeland, FL, Peggy (Phillip) Meyer of Salem, IL, and Gladys (David) Weaver of Flora, IL and a sister-in-law, Esther Meredith of Smithville.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Ivan Meredith.
