APPLE CREEK Jack Lee Davis, 90, of Apple Creek passed away on Thursday, September 28, 2017 at the Wayne Co. Care Center.
He was born November 6, 1926 in Marshallville, the son of Earl and Eva K. Yeagley Davis. He married Ramona Arnold on February 5, 1950. She survives.
Jack was a 1944 graduate of Dalton High School and graduated from Riggs Lemar Institute of Barbering in Akron. He was a self-employed barber for over 50 years and was a member of the Fredericksburg Church of Christ.
He proudly served his country with the U.S. Army during WWII.
In addition to his wife, Ramona, he is survived by his children, Jack L. Davis, and wife Shari of Cincinnati, Ted Davis and wife Merilee of Indianapolis and Jill Wickham and husband Matt of Wooster; grandchildren Jennifer Davis, Julie Davis, Christopher Davis, Philip Davis and Jonathan Boomer Wickham, Tami Hall and Rob Tudor and many great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Friends will be received 1 hour prior to the 11:00 a.m. service on Saturday, September 30, 2017 at the McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster with the Rev. Jeremiah Scadden officiating. Burial will follow in the Apple Creek Cemetery.
