SHREVE – James H. Morris (Jim), born December 11, 1944, and formerly of Glenmont, Ohio, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Tuesday, May 16, 2017.  
He retired from Rexroth Corporation of Wooster, Ohio after 35 years of service. He and wife Deb owned and operated Maple Ridge sheep farm in Shreve, Ohio. Jim loved farming and did it most of his life. He was active in the Ohio Heartland Sheep Association and previously the Ohio Forge and Grasslands council.   He was a die-hard Cleveland Browns fan and a very dedicated father. He will be missed greatly by his children.
He is survived by his loving wife Deb Morris, daughters, Jeanette Morris Kaufman, Janelle (Mike) Mattingly, Jolene (Tracy) Kapper, Andrea (Mike) Huff and son Rob (Wendy) Clason; grandchildren, Matt (Ryan) Morris, Patrick (Kara)  Kaufman, Trevor Mattingly, Jake Kapper and Samuel Clason; brothers Ray and Dale Morris, sisters Nancy Halverson, Eva Weese, and Lorna Lozier. He is also survived by daughter in law, Debbie Morris and children Randolph Mcfadden Jr, Misty Hendrix and Kristy Mcfadden.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Kenneth and Erma Tipton Morris and son Jimmy Morris.
Those who knew Jim know that he liked to keep things simple. In keeping with his wishes, there will be no formal service. A celebration of life will be held Saturday, May 20th from 6-8:00 p.m. at the Shreve United Methodist Church Activity Center, 430 North Main Street, Shreve, Ohio 44676 for friends and family.
