My heart felt condolences go out to the family of Jim Figley. Jim was a friendly and easy going guy who I got to know from his career at Ohio State OARDC. Always a smile on his face and a willingness to help. Surely taken from this world too early, he will be missed and will always be remembered. Jim, you were one of the good guys.

I knew Jim from working at OARDC. My deepest condolences to his family. May happy memories bring you peace during this difficult time.

Shirley & Kyle. Oh my, we are very sorry to hear about Jim passing! Our thought's are with your Family & May God Bless & comfort your Family.

Oh, my condolences. He was a good person. Peace and prayers for your family. I knew him from OARDC.

I had the priviledge of being the supervisor on second shift when Jim worked for Lehmans during a few Christmas holidays. We always had a great time working together, he was so pleasant and easy going. He loved sharing stories of his cookie jar shipments, repairing hot tubs and his family. I remember him always being so hot and sweating so much. I would always ask "Jim are you sure you are ok, would you like a fan"....He would always reply....."I'm just fine, I'm used to being drippy"
He was one of my favorites. I am so sorry for your loss. I pray for peace and strength during this hard time. Rest easy Jim.

Heartfelt condolences to Jim's family ... In 23 years of working with Jim at the OARDC I have never, as was stated many times in the messages above, encountered a more easy going person who regardless of the task at hand was more intent on getting it right. Stunning in many ways. Rest In Peace my friend.

Jim's sudden passing is so hard to accept. He was one of our colleagues at OARDC for many years so we shared lots of experiences, and we were staying in touch at auctions since his retirement. Shirley, our condolences to you and all of Jim's family. We are so sorry for your loss.

Shirley,

I am so sorry to hear about Jim passing away so unexpectedly! My deepest sympathies to you, Kyle (and Kimberly), and those three grandsons! You will be in my thoughts and prayers!

Deann

I am so sorry to learn of Jim’s passing. I remember him as a cute little guy—“Jimmy”—Diane’s little brother—from many times spent at their home when Diane and I were at Franklin and Triway. May you find comfort in good memories
