James R. œJim Badger, 73, of West Salem, passed away Sunday, January 15, 2017 at Ohio Health/MedCentral Hospital in Mansfield with his loyal son and caretaker by his side.
He was born December 28, 1943 in Lodi to Clifford and Helen Fair Badger.   He was a 1961 graduate of Northwestern High School.
Jim was a Wayne County farmer all his life.   He was a US Army National Guard veteran and retired from the City of Wooster.   He was a member of the Wayne County Saddle Club for over 50 years.   With over a half century of volunteer involvement with 4-H, Jim gave countless personal and machine hours to the 4-H horse shows and the Wayne County Fair.   He was especially proud that all his grandchildren are active in 4-H or the FFA.   Jim loved the outdoors, machinery sales and hunting.
