  1. Dear John and Phil,
So sorry to read of the passing of your mother. She was a “neighborhood Goddess” in my book. Her smile was almost always present…except when we deserved a good scolding…which we got! I loved the way she handled her boys giving you and all of us the freedom to roam and grow in the Miller’s Lake neighborhood. She continued to be lively and smiling for her long life. She will be a model in my memory for how to age gracefully and to live fully. It has been nice to run into you (Phil) occasionally in our boat travels, and hear about you (Floyd) from Jane Horn your Michigan neighbor. Oakley road, the Miller’s Lakes and the Gompf boys hold some of my fondest memories. Peace and blessings to you all.
    Fondly,
    Linda (and Dave)Bush
