WOOSTER “ Jeanette R. Oberholtzer, 81, of Wooster passed away on Tuesday, August 16, 2016 at her home.
She was born October 5, 1934 in Wooster, the daughter of Zeno and Ruth Varner Rhees.   She married Richard C. Oberholtzer on October 17, 1954.   He survives.
Her family moved to Paint Valley in Holmes County and Jeanette attended Johnson Country School for 8 years.   The family moved to Big Prairie and Jeanette graduated from Big Prairie High School.   In 1952 Jeanette went to work at Rubbermaid and stayed for 42 years.   She was a member of the Plain Lutheran Church
In addition to her husband, she is survived by nieces and nephews, Fred Rhees, Nancy (Charles) Hall, Terry (Martha) Rhees, Doug (Paula) Akins, Joan (Kenny) Flinner and Randy (Sherry)  Clinage.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister, Bernice Clinage and a brother, John Rhees.
Friends will be received at the McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster on Thursday, August 18, 2016 from 6-8:00 p.m.
Services will be held at the funeral home on Friday, August 19, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. with the Rev. Rob Moskowitz officiating.   Burial will follow in the Fairview Cemetery.
