Jeffrey Ross Kurtz, 69, of McDonald and formerly of Wooster died on Saturday, January 8, 2022 at Hospice of the Valley.
He was born July 15 1952 in Orrville to Ross and Edith I. Williams Kurtz.
Jeffrey was one of the first 6 students at Ida Sue School and Nick Amster Workshop.   He loved being at the Workshop and was the œWorker of the Month  many times.   He also enjoyed music and sports.   Jeffrey loved his Coke and would tell folks that he was going to buy them one.
He is survived by his sister Linda Heap of Youngstown.
Jeffrey was preceded in death by his parents and a sister Judy Porter.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, January 12, 2022 at 2:30 PM at McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster.   Interment will follow in Sherwood Memorial Gardens.
Friends will be received one hour prior the service.

  1. Jeff and his parents lived close to us when we lived on Cleveland Rd. in Wooster. He sometimes would stop outside to visit with us. He was always pleasant and with a smile.

  2. I had the honor of working with jeff. He was always laughing and joking with everyone around him. He was a kind soul with a smile that made you wonder what he had gotten into or what hilarious words he was about to say. He will be greatly missed by this world.

  3. My sincere condolences for Jeff! As a Supervisor, and Fun Night Director, I was always there to assist Jeff when needed!
    I truly miss Jeff, ad his wonderful Mom who helped me with so many actives that Jeff participated.

    Jeff is NOW with his GREAT PARENTS and our GREAT CREATOR! Now he is at PEACE!
