WOOSTER “ Jenna Marie Kirkwood, 35, of Wooster passed away on Thursday, December 19, 2019 at her home.
She was born on October 24, 1984 in Wooster.   Jenna was a vibrant, bold woman with a very big & playful heart. Wife to the love of her life Adam Kirkwood. Mother to her Daughter she adored Arianna Kirkwood. Daughter to kind & generous parents Timothy Winkler, Sandy Carpenter & Stepfather Jim Carpenter. A loving Sister, & an authentic friend too many.
She had many interests including anything involving the outdoors, Photography, Reading, Traveling, connecting with people, & a great love for animals of all kinds (especially her Cats & Dogs). What truly defines her is not what we can see and touch from a distance. But her character & what she treasured deep in her heart that embraced everyone she was near. Jenna’s love for her Family & Friends is a tangible love, & so is her love for Jesus Christ. She would commonly be found with her bible, praying, worshiping & deep conversation about the Love and Goodness of God. Every part of her life lead her and everyone around her right back to Him. It was her greatest Joy & desire to touch people with the Love of the Holy Spirit who lived in her. Anyone in contact with her could feel that undeniable love whether they shared her faith or not. She is a true example of what it looks like to live the way Jesus lived. In constant pursuit of the Father and the children he longs to connect with.
Jenna was a person who walked fearlessly in Truth. She understood that the Truth is a person, & the Truth will set you free (John 8:32). Jenna was full of Faith & Promise no matter what confronted her. She knew who her Father in heaven is & who He said she is & rooted herself in that place. She brought Hope & Courage too many through her example. She shows us all that real strength is found when you feel at your very weakest & choose strength anyway.
For He raised us from the dead along with Christ and seated us with Him in the heavenly realms because we are united with Christ Jesus.  So God can point to us in all future ages as examples of the incredible wealth of His grace and kindness toward us, as shown in all He has done for us who are united with Christ Jesus.   Ephesians 2:6 & 7

  1. To Jennas family I never met Jenna personally but you could tell she was a wonderful woman who loved her family more than herself. Her constant faith in Jesus which she knew was beside her always and that was going to meet her with open arms when she became tired. Arianna know that your Mom will be listening to your prayers and that her biggest accomplish in life was you. What a blessing just to know this kind, beautiful woman if even from a distance. Bless you all with love and prayers

  2. I am so saddened by Jenna’s passing. I met Jenna at the YMCA Center when Arianna & my granddaughter, Taylor were taking a course for Cheerleading. What a wonderful woman and Mother. I’ve followed her journey on Facebook and know how huge her heart is for her family and her Lord. While she has taken her well earned seat beside our Lord, I will miss her smile, happy attitude, infectious laugh and her trusting heart. I send my deepest sympathy to her family and pray that treasured memories will help you throughout the days ahead. May God bring you peace and comfort.
