Jennie Irene RUTT, 85, of Wooster, died Thursday December 10, 2009 at West View Manor.
She was born June 24, 1924 in Wooster daughter of the late Angelo and Maddalena (Cicconetti) Santoro.
Jennie was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church, was an Avon Lady, volunteered at the Red Cross and NCCW.
She is survived are daughters, Linda Rutt of Wooster, Diana Hawkins of Virginia Beach, VA; grandchildren Tina Marie and Deborah Ann; sister, Philomena (Henry) Carle of Overland Park, KS; nephew Colin (Robin) Cruise; nieces Karen Ann (Robert) Tenny, Deborah L. and Cynthia Rene Carle.
Along with her parents, Jennie was preceded in death by her husband Richard Rutt and sister Norina Cruise.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday December 16, 2009 at 11:00 am at St. Mary Catholic Church with Father Stephen Moran officiating. Interment will follow in the St. Mary Cemetery.
Friends will be received one hour prior to the service at the church.
Contributions may be directed to the charity of the donor’s choice.
