Jim Shrader, 66, of Wooster passed away Saturday, July 30, 2022 at his residence.

He was born October 4, 1955 in Wooster the son of Irvin J., Sr. and Martha Wolford Shrader. On August 1, 1975 he married Paula Perry. She survives.

Jim had worked for Haliburton Oil Services as an Acid Treater, and at Wayne Steel, and then as a Manager for Best Price Cigarettes. He enjoyed playing Corn Hole at family gatherings. He also enjoyed woodworking, playing computer games, and doing home repairs. He mostly loved spending time with his family.

In addition to his wife, Jim is survived by his children Tina (William) Braucher and Jason (Christina) Shrader – both of Wooster; grandchildren Zachary Stevenson, Jonathan Stevenson, Kerry Stevenson, Joshua Shrader, Matthew Shrader, and Thomas Shrader; his mother Martha Shrader of Wooster; his siblings Irvin J. Shrader, Jr. of Wooster, Paul Shrader of Dalton, and Judy Shrader of Wooster; and his canine companion Boomer.

He was preceded in death by his father Irvin J. Shrader, Sr.; a grandson Patrick Sigler; and brother Johnny Shrader.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster is assisting the family.
