JoEllen Bowen-Wilson, 61, of Shreve died on Saturday, October 9, 2021 at Sycamore Run Nursing Home.
She was born January 22, 1960 in Denver, CO to Perry F. and Leaona Keithline Bowen.
JoEllen had been a waitress. She loved the beach, flying kites with her husband, floral arranging and watching cooking shows. She participated in drum corps during her high school days and for several years post high school.
She is survived by her children Randi-Jo Brenner and Jadd Wilson both of Wooster; grandchildren Jaxx Wilson, Desiree Smith and Jozielynn Brenner; siblings Pamela Bowen and Perry Bowen both of Morrison, CO; her earth angel Belinda Hochstetler of Shreve; special friend Brad Hochstetler of Shreve and feline companions Tigger and Duke.
JoEllen was preceded in death by her husband John Douglas “J.D.” Wilson in 2008, her parents and a sister Sarah Beger.
Private family services will be held.
McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster is assisting the family.
