FOSTORIA “ John Edward Bupp, 84 of Fostoria and formerly of Wooster passed away on Monday, December 16, 2019 at the Good Shepherd Home in Fostoria.
He was born March 7, 1935 in Wayne County, the son of Stanley and Dorothy Yoder Bupp.   He married M. Joan Carmony on July 28, 1957.   She preceded him in death on March 18, 2019.
John was a retired farmer and a co-owner of J & J Antiques for 32. Years.   He was a member of the Chippewa Church of the Brethren, a former member of the Smithville Ruritan Club and a Charter member of the Farm Bureau.
John proudly served his country with the U.S. Army from 1957-1959.
Surviving is a son, Jerry (Jennifer) Bupp of Tiffin; grandchildren, Jacob, Daniel and Alex and siblings, James Bupp of Canandaigua, NY and Sylvan Bupp of Modesta, CA.
In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by his parents.
Friends will be received 1 hour prior to the 11:00 a.m. service on Friday, December 20, 2019 at the Chippewa Church of the Brethren, 10230 N. Honeytown Rd., Creston with Pastor Bill Eley officiating.   Burial will follow in the Smithville Cemetery.
McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster is assisting the family.
Those who wish may make memorial contributions to the Chippewa Church of the Brethren or the Good Shepherd Home.
