  7. To Lu and the Durden Family,

I was deeply saddened to hear about my dear neighbor and friend. John was like a son to me. We spent many days around my kitchen table talking. He had such a gentle and loving spirit. I will always remember him. We serve a God who is able to keep and comfort us. For if believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so God will bring with Him those who sleep in Jesus. 1 Thessalonians 4:14
