WOOSTER – John Nathaniel Henshaw, 92 of W. Smithville Western Road died Monday morning, June 23, 2008 after a period of declining health.
Memorial Services will be Friday at 11:00 A.M. at Wayne Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Robert Meyer officiating. Private burial will be in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends following the service at the Church.
Arrangements are being handled by the McIntire, Davis & Greene Funeral Home in Wooster.

John was born on October 30, 1915 in Wooster to Luther and Haddie Porter Henshaw.
He was a 1935 graduate of Wooster High School and the Ohio State University School of Horticulture. He werved in WWII with the 316th Troop Carrier Group in Northern Africia and Europe. After the war he farmed the family homestead until retirement. John was a life member of Wayne Presbyterian Church.
Uncle John is survived by thirteen nieces and nephews and spouses: Tom (Pat) Henshaw, Janet (Ben) Hickey, Joan (Ed) Millspaw, Doug (Cindy) Henshaw, John (JoAnne) Sleesman, Craig (Liz) Sleesman, Marsha (Tim) Waibel, David (Jane) Cottrell, Caroline (Stuart) Bell, Sara (Glen) Winston, Martha (Bill) Watkins, Maryanna (Don) Harley and Paul (Suzanne) Lawton and a sister Adelaide Lawton.
He was preceded in death by sisters Ruth Baker, Mary Cottrell and Helen Sleesman and brother William Henshaw. A niece Rachel (Dick) Troup also died previously.
