Together Again
Wooster- Josephine M. Grande, 84, of Wooster died Thursday March 25, 2010 at her home.
She was born on November 21, 1925 in Midland, PA daughter of the late Joseph and Catherine (Pullano) Lento.
Josephine was a homemaker who was known for her hospitality, a member of St. Mary Catholic Church where she sang in the choir, was active in the Mission Circle and was an avid golfer.
Josephine is survived by her daughters Cindy Grande (Marty) Giffin of Poway, CA, Marianne (Jim) Gasser, Rita Grande Schmel (Tom Harold) and Nancy C. Grande all of Wooster; grandchildren Michael and Sam Gasser, Angie Giltner, Amelia and Taylor Giffin, Jenna and Bianca Schmel and Thomas Harold; great grandchildren Rebecca, Jacob, Emma and Harley Gasser.
Along with her parents, Josephine was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, John Grande, Jr. in 2009 and siblings Michael, Mary Zarlengo Zigarelli, Ernestine Copozza, Frances (Frank), Rafael, William (Wedy) and James (Jimmy).
Friends will be received on Monday March 29 from 6:00-9:00 PM at McIntire, Davis and Greene Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday March 30 at 10:00 AM at St. Mary Catholic Church with Rev. Stephen Moran as Celebrant. Interment will follow at St. Mary Cemetery.
