WOOSTER “ Judy Ann Greenwald, 68, of Wooster passed away on Tuesday, June 25, 2019 at Wooster Community Hospital.
She was born March 27, 1951 in Wooster the daughter of Forest and Virginia Joanne Carson Leiner.
She was a beautician and the owner of Judy ™s Hair Parlor.   Judy enjoyed spending time with her granddaughter who was her light, enjoyed playing cards, especially euchre, the Secrest Arboretum and the Rose Garden at the OARDC.   She loved Elvis and animals.  She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary, the Eagles Auxiliary and the Moose Auxiliary.
She is survived by her daughter, Jorie (Gabe) Fahrney of Wooster; a granddaughter, Angel Fahrney; siblings, Linda Rae of Niwot, CO and Michael Leiner of Colorado; a niece Amy (Matt) Dumler and great-nieces, Ava and Mia Dumler both of Colorado.
Judy was preceded in death by her parents.
A memorial service will be held in July.
McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster is assisting the family.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Wayne Co. Humane Society, 1161 Mechanicsburg Rd., Wooster, OH 44691 or to the Wayne Co. Dog Shelter, 5694 Burbank Rd., Wooster, OH 44691.

  4. I’m so sorry for your loss, Jorie! She cut my hair for many years & made me blonde when my mom thought I should be. Lol. Mom always loved her.

  7. Jorie and family: So sorry for your loss. I went to school with Judy from elementary thru high school. Many fun memories. She was then our family hairdresser for many years. Always loved talking with her. She will be missed. Praying for you and your family.

  11. So very sorry Jorie. Your Mom introduced my husband Rich and I and I will forever be grateful to her for that. Even though we didn’t see each other often I always considered her a very special friend. My heart goes out to you and your family.

  12. Jorie, my deepest sympathy to you and your family. Your mom cut my mom’s hair (Celia Gates) for years and then cut mine for several years as well. She had such a great sense of humor and always a smile on her face. I know you were her sunshine.

  15. TO LINDA, MIKE AND JORIE. I WAS YOUR NEIGHBOR AT END OF STREET. SORRY TO SEE JO AND JUDY PASSED. IF JO WAS AT JUDYS AND OUTSIDE I WOULD ALWAYS STOP AND SAY HI. JUDY DID MY HAIR IN THE 80’S AND 90’S.
