WOOSTER – Kenneth W. VEIGEL, 79, of Wooster passed away Friday, October 2, 2009 in his home.
He was born March 4, 1930 in New Bedford, Ohio the son of Earl and Mable Funk Veigel.
He retired in 1993 from the Wooster Brush Co. after 30 years of employment. He was a member of the Grace Brethren Church and enjoyed woodworking.
Surviving are his wife, Portia Pasho Veigel, whom he married April 22, 1989 and his daughters, Debra Fulk of Holmesville and Connie Brown of NC; step-children, Steven (Paula) Johnson of Rittman, Cheryl (Mark) Smith of Wooster, Donald (Chris) Johnson of West Salem and Barbara (Marty) Funai of Canton; 10 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and a sister, Juanita Berner of Millersburg.
Kenneth was preceded in death by his parents and his first wife, Dolores Veigel.
There will be no calling hours.
Private Family Services will be held. Burial will be in the Apple Creek Cemetery.
