WOOSTER “ Larry Posten passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 14, 2018 after a lengthy illness. His wife and family at his side. Friends will be received 1 hour prior to the 11:00am Funeral Service on Tuesday, April 17, 2018 at the McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., in Wooster. Burial will follow at Prairie Township Cemetery in Holmesville.
Larry enjoyed classic country music, driving Chevy trucks, riding his Harley-Davidson motorcycle, playing golf, traveling to the Smoky Mountains in Tennessee and The Villages in Florida, cooking on the grill and spending evenings on his patio. He especially enjoyed spending time with his wife and family.
Larry is survived by his wife, best friend, and soulmate, Tracie; and four children and their spouses, David & Danielle, Brad & Mary Beth, Joshua & Cierra, and Angela & Daniel. Also surviving are grandchildren Brandi, Brooke (Max), Bryce, Christian (Brooke), Wyatt, Skylar, Colton, Cadence, Isabella, Clarissa, Adelina & Phoenix; and great-grandsons Carson & Tyler. Two sisters and their husbands, Sandy & George and Judy & John; and several nephews and nieces. And two very special furry companions, Gunner and Harley. Larry will be missed by each and every one.
A special thank you to Joyce, his mother-in-law, for all her loving care and support especially during the last several months, and to the outstanding staff of LifeCare Hospice for their compassion.
Larry was preceded in death by his parents, Ernie and Maxine Posten.
