Larry William Johnson, 55, of Wooster died on Sunday, March 21, 2021 at Metro Health in Cleveland.
He was born October 22, 1965 in Wooster to James Johnson and Dolores DeVore.
Larry was a big sports fan, loved pets, especially dogs, fishing and being outdoors.   He was the best mover ever and was at his happiest when he was with his grandkids.
He is survived by a daughter Emilee Hill of Wooster; grandchildren Landon, Carleigha and Leighton Elder; siblings James Johnson, Cindy Duminske, Jane Brown, Douglas Higgs, Jennifer Johnson all of Wooster and Suzanne (Jeremy) Shaw of Shreve; œAunt  Jackie Paxton, œAunt  Penny (John) Jacobson, Randy (Ruby) Griffis and his best friends Tim Robinson and Eddie Brown.
Larry was preceded in death by his parents.
Private family services will be held and burial will be in Wooster Cemetery.
There will be no calling hours.
McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster is assisting the family.
The family would like to thank the Wooster Squad, Wooster Community Hospital and Metro Health Burn Unit for all of their care.

I agree with Stephen Bayless he could get on your last nerve but he would do anything for you every time I came to Wooster he would give me a best back rub ever he was always at our house sending family prayers and condolence love you Larry see you on the other side now you’re up there with Hoyie I know you’re giving him hell I know he was waiting there at Golden Gate and give you a big O hug happy to see you

My condolence to the family prayers and hugs and I agree with State Bayless he would get on your last nerve but he was always there for you to help you out every time I come to Wooster He would give me the best Back rub I know Hoyie was standing at Golden gate to give you a big O hug not goodbye Larry but see you later love you buddy

  5. We ran hard as teenagers. Seen some crazy stuff at BV but we never kept it touch over the years. Sorry to hear the news and a reminder that no matter what we should always stay connected.
