Lawrence “Larry” Rolince, 79 of Vermilion, died on Tuesday, December 31, 2019 at Ohio Hospice LifeCare.

He was born in Cleveland on January 26, 1940, son of George and Phyllis Czamara Rolince.

Larry was a retired truck driver and an avid fisherman and charter boat captain with many interests and hobbies.  He was an active member of the Vermilion Community where he was known for his infectious smile, colorful humor and his beloved canine companions. He will always be remembered for his yearly Christmas parties and other large gatherings with his family, friends and neighbors.  He will be greatly missed.

He is survived by his children Mick Rolince of Killbuck, Wayne (Carol) Rolince of VA, Monica (Darold) Ehrmantrout of Wooster, Denise (Richard) Kryah of Shreve and Loretta (Dan) Hostetler of Wooster, Daughter-in-law Kathy Rolince of Clark; step-daughter Tammy (Pat Graham) Stepp of Lakewood; grandchildren Brian (Jen) Rolince, Neala (Kurt) Miller, Jeremy (Teresa) Rolince, Matt Rolince, Lucas (Chareia) Rolince, Rachel (Mike) St. John, Darold “DJ” Ehrmantrout, Rebekah (Jeff) Stutzman, Roberta (Matt) Troyer, Ricky (Jamie-Lynn) Kryah, Joey (Alice) McCartney, Jeffrey (Sarah) McCartney, Tim, Nadine and Stanley Hostetler, step grandchildren Zach, Tyler and Ally Stepp, 27 great grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild; sisters Linda (Ron) Jastrzebski of Cleveland and Noreen (Mark) Kondik of Reminderville along with many cousins, nieces, nephews and many lifelong friends.

Larry was preceded in death by his parents, wife Kathleen Nieding Rolince, son, Russell Rolince and brother Gary Rolince.

Calling hours will be on Sunday, January 5 from 1:00-3:00 PM at McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home, 216 Larwill Street, Wooster followed by a private family service.

A mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, January 6 at 10:00 AM at St. Ignatius of Antioch, 10205 Lorain Ave., Cleveland with Father Estabrook presidinrg Interment will follow in Holy Cross Cemetery, Brook Park.

A celebration of Larry’s life and 80th birthday will be held at German’s Villa in Vermilion on January 25.

Very sorry for the loss of Larry, He was a good man and a close friend. He will never be forgotten.....

So sorry to hear of larry's passing . He will be greatly missed seems like yesterday but it has already been over 16 years since we met Larry at the marina . He was always around and would have kind words for my son or words of experience to pass along to him . r i p LARRY
