WOOSTER – Leona M. TOMASSETTI, 81, of Wooster, died Thursday, July 10, 2008 in Smithville Western Care Center.
Private family services were held.
McIntire, Davis & Greene Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster assisted the family with arrangements.
Born May 19, 1927 in Marshallville, OH, she was the daughter of Ernest L. and Leona L. Townsend Deetz.
She was a homemaker and had worked at Wooster Community Hospital for 12 years. She enjoyed music and cooking. She was a member of the Orrville Presbyterian Church.
Surviving are step-children, Patty (Terry) Hall of Wooster and Robert (Clemencia) Tomassetti of Wooster, and a Step-Granddaughter, Catalina Pena and special cousins Judy and Henry Plance.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John V. Tomassetti on September 2, 1997 and brothers Horace L. and Lorence E. Deetz.
