APPLE CREEK – Leona Onie MILLER, 75, passed into the arms of her precious Jesus early Tuesday, December 2, 2008 at her home with her sister, Mabel (Don) Gable, at her side after an extended illness.
She was born May 21, 1933 in the Wooster area to of Eli L. and Lucy Hochstetler Miller.
Leona had been a client at the Nick Amster Workshop since its early conception in the mid 60’s. She loved her many friends and staff at the workshop always telling people, I go town.
She was a member of Salem Mennonite Church of Wooster.
Surviving are sisters, Mary Ann (Forrest) Kandel of Berlin, Mabel (Don) Gable and sons Bill and Bob of Apple Creek and Ruby Ellen Lehman of Lambertville, MI and 13 nieces and nephews..
Leona was preceded in death by her parents and a brother Ray Lee.
She will be greatly missed by many friends and family whose lives she touched with a beautiful smile and love for Jesus.
Friends will be received at the McIntire, Davis & Greene Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St. on Friday from 6-8:00 p.m. and 1 hour prior to the service on Saturday at 11:00 A.M. at the Salem Mennonite Church, 7012 Back Orrville Rd. with Revs. Mike Mast and Richard Ross officiating. Burial will be in the Maple Grove Cemetery.

Visitation
Friday from 6-8:00 P.M. and 1 hour prior to the service on Saturday at the Church
