Leroy Franklin Hart, 84, of Wooster passed away Saturday, December 18, 2021 at the Avenue at Wooster.
He was born January 27, 1937 in Mannington, West Virginia the son of Mose L. and Dora Esther Neptune Hart. On September 27, 1958 he married Donna Jean Rodi. She survives.
Leroy proudly served his country with the U. S. Navy.
He retired from Akron Brass after 22 years of service. Prior to working there, Leroy worked for Ken Cleveland Builders. He enjoyed golfing, gardening, woodworking and his family ¦especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Leroy was a member of Ebenezer Lodge #33 F & AM.
Surviving in addition to his wife are his children Richard Hart of Dalton, Thomas (Laurie) Hart and Michael (Amy) Hart “ both of Wooster; grandchildren Damon (Lex) Hart of Utah, Keela Hart and Alix Hart of Wooster, Rachel Hart of Rootstown, Aaron Gable of California, Logan Gable of Wooster, Taylor Leckrone of Orrville, Cassandra Leckrone of Wooster, and Bowie Guthery of Orrville; great-grandchildren Tanley Hart and Starr Hart and Taelyn Hart.
In addition to his parents, Leroy was preceded in death by an infant son and his siblings Arnold, Verl Hart, Aubrey Hart, Joseph Hart, and Barbara Haught.
Private family services will be held.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to East Union Lutheran Church, 7063 Lincoln Way E., Wooster, OH 44691 or to Ohio’s Hospice LifeCare, 1900 Akron Rd., Wooster, OH 44691.
McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster is assisting the family.

  3. Donna, Rick, Tom, Mike and all family and friends. So sorry for your loss. He was a lot of fun. Still remember the BMX races when I was a kid at Norwalk and Waterford. Going to really miss him.

Mike, Rick, Tom and Donna, we are very sorry to hear the loss of Leroy,.always appreciate his time that he gave us .. he was always wanting to help us when we raced motorcycles and so much fun to be around back in the day, Praying for God to give the family peace, comfort and healing during this trying time.   5. Mrs.Hart,Rick,Tom,and Mike I am so sorry for your loss. Rick,Tom,and Mike. When you wake up every morning always remember your father gave all three of you the same thing,and that was to be a gentleman. Leroy was a true gentleman. GOD BLESS.
