Together Again
DOYLESTOWN – Lila E. Judy MATTY, 96, of Alliance passed away Wednesday, March 3, 2010 in the Doylestown Health Care Center.
She was born June 5, 1913 in Wooster, the daughter of Harry S and Lydia Melvina Mellie Woodward Grable.
She was a homemaker, a member of the Emanuel United Church of Christ and a member of the Milton St. Garden Club in Alliance.
Surviving are son, James R. (Teresa) Matty of Doylestown, OH, grandchildren, Ani (John) Nichol, James (Lauren) Matty and Jamie Matty; great-grandchildren Jacob Nichol, Matthew Nichol and Zachary Nichol.
Lila was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Robert E Matty, on November 18, 1986, brothers, Demsey Grable, Orland Grable and Roy Alton Grable, sisters, Mary Swinehart, Hilda Bowman, Pauline Sparr and Erma Hodgen and an infant brother.
Friends will be received 2 hours prior to the 2:00 P.M. service on Saturday, March 6, 2010 at the McIntire, Davis & Greene Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster with the Rev. Paul Lintern officiating. Interment will follow in the Congress Cemetery.
