Linda Forestal of Wooster died December 3, 2020 at Sycamore Run Nursing Home in Millersburg, Ohio.
McIntire, Bradham and Sleek Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster has been entrusted with the arrangements. No visitation or calling hours will be observed. A private service will be held at a later date.
Ms. Forestal was born in Youngstown on July 20, 1940 and lived in Sacramento, California for most of her adult life. She graduated from Hoban Dominican High School in Cleveland and attended Ohio University. Linda was a member of St. Mary ™s Catholic Church in Wooster. Her parents, Raymond and Rosemary (Rodgers) preceded her in death. Surviving are sisters Maura Forestal of Wooster, and Rosemary (Forestal) Maxwell and brother-in-law Richard Maxwell of Westerville, Ohio (previously in Millersburg). In addition are niece, Susan (Johnerik) Wenar, and nephews Kevin (Sally) and John (Vicky) Maxwell. Her family also included grand-niece, Mary and grand-nephews: Michael, David, Ethan, Benjamin and William Maxwell.
Linda ™s lifelong love of reading led her to a career in business. In California, she managed a statewide depository of textbooks for a major publisher and managed several stores for a prominent bookseller. After retirement in California she moved back to Wooster to assist with her family and continued to enjoy reading by joining several book clubs.
