WOOSTER – Linda L. Ramsier, 81, of Wooster passed away on Tuesday, December 28, 2021 at her home.

She was born November 24, 1940 in Wayne County the daughter of John and Mary Capitola Seib.  She married Edward Ramsier on June 19, 1987.  He preceded her in death in 2014.

Linda had been a cashier at Florence O. Wilson Bookstore for 32 years before retiring in 2002.  She was a member of Central Christian Church. Linda was an avid College of Wooster Men’s Basketball fan and was a member of The Wooster Rebounders.  She loved gardening, spending time at Prairie Lane Lake and with her family and friends.

She is survived by her children Lorie (Robert) Stimpert of Wooster, Mark (Carole) Paxton of AZ; step-children Roni (Ron) Gammell of Chippewa Lake, Robin Baehr of AZ and Rebecca (Lee) Swezey of AR; 6 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; brother Andy (Linda) Seib of Butler along with several nieces and nephews.

Along with her husband, Linda was preceded in death by her parents and a sister Millie Shisler Elliott.

A Service of Remembrance will be held on Friday, January 14, 2022 at 11:00 AM at McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster with Pastor Dan Wingate officiating.  Interment will be along side her husband at the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in Seville.

The family will greet friends following the service.

I'm so sorry to hear of Linda's sudden passing. She was always a joy to be around! She will be missed. My prayers of peace are with you all during this time.

I am so sorry for your loss. Linda & I had became friends when
I started my employment at The College of Wooster. Since leaving
the college in 2000 we remained friends over the next 21 years. I will miss
her friendship & our closeness. RIP Linda.

So sad to learn that Linda passed away so suddenly. She was such of dear and very kind person. We were in school together and had so many fun times and memories with all our girlfriends. She was always a favorite among all our classmates. She will be very missed.

I was so sad to hear about Linda’s sudden passing. She was always so sweet & pleasant to be with & friendly to me back in our Smithville High School days. Where are all my friends going. Just seems like yersterday are parents were playing cards. Andy and I were in High school. I remembmer all the breakfasts Ed and you joined us at the shack. Linda you will never be forgotton.

It's taken me awhile to figure out what to say. Linda was amazing. I loved working with her and visiting with her and hearing about her great-granddaughter. I am praying for you all. She will be missed.
