WOOSTER – Lois L. Mullen, 93, of Wooster passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 13, 2019 at Ohio’s Hospice LifeCare in Wooster.
She was born July 16, 1925 in Wooster, the daughter of Earl E. and Hertha L. Schenberger Frontz. She married Donald Mullen on February 10, 1946. He preceded her in death on July 5, 1987.
Lois was a graduate of Wooster High School, had worked in the Admissions Office at The College of Wooster and previously had worked at the William Annat Company. She was a member of the Zion Lutheran Church. Lois loved to sew, crochet, and do needle point, cook and bake. She was an avid reader, a hard worker and enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.
Surviving are her children, Michael Mullen of Apple Creek, Ricky Mullen of La Vernia, Texas and Margie Mullen of Wooster; grandchildren, Michelle Neely, Brandon Mullen, Amy Voss, Mark Mullen, Megan Willig, Molly Thomas and McKenna Burkholder and 11 great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by parents and siblings, Richard “Dick”, William “Bill”, Roy and Carl Frontz, Verda Shaffer and Wanda Frontz.
Friends will be received 1 hour prior to the 11:00 a.m. service on Monday, February 18, 2019 at the McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster with the Rev. Ann Paynter officiating. Burial will follow in the Vermillion Cemetery in Hayesville.
