œTogether Again 
Louise M. Klangos, 79, of Wooster passed away on Tuesday, December 21, 2021 at her residence.
She was born July 27, 1942 in Lynn, Massachusetts the daughter of Francis and Marie Bastarache Bernier. She married Nicholas Klangos. He preceded her in death in 1992.
Louise and her husband owned and operated the œSub N Beef  restaurant in Pittsfield, MA until they sold it in 1986. Louise had also worked with special needs children at Berkshire Meadows in Great Barrington, MA. She was the choir director at Sacred Heart Church in Pittsfield for many years. She loved spending time with her family and was affectionately known to her grandchildren as œMemere . Louise enjoyed cake decorating and baking, and was a cancer survivor.
Surviving are her children Nicholas (Cindy) Klangos of Wichita, Kansas, Ann-Marie (Scott) DeWinkeleer of Northridge, CA, Caroline Klangos of Wooster; step-children Irene (Rodolfo Tenorio) Klangos of Athen, GA, and Charles (Maureen) Klangos of Tewksbury, MA; grandchildren Airi (Jacob) Klangos Maul, Nicholas Klangos III, Julianna Klangos, Lisa-Marie DeWinkeleer, and Nicole DeWinkeleer, and a sister Celeste McCusker of Haverhill, MA.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her step-daughter Kathy Smith, a grandson Matthew Klangos, and her brother George Bernier.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date, and burial will be at St. Joseph ™s Cemetery in Pittsfield, MA.
McIntire, Bradham & Sleek, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster is assisting the family.

  3. My thoughts and prayers are with you at this difficult time. Aunt Louise was very special and so blessed to have such a wonderful family care for her. Caroline, always keep the warm memories close at heart and full of love. God be with you and the family as he is with Mom.
