Maeretha Evelyn Williams, 67, of Wooster, died Wednesday October 7, 2009 at Akron General Hospital.
She was born December 29, 1941 in Leesburg, FL, daughter of the late Arthur and Beatrice (James) Crummer.
Maeretha was a homemaker and a teacher’s aide at Apple Creek Development Center and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Orrville.
Surviving are her husband of over 53 years, Booker T Williams of Wooster; children Terry R. Williams of Wooster, Gordon B. (Idaliz) Williams of Parma Heights and daughter, Reida L. (Jerry) Wilson of Dayton; Nine Grandchildren; goddaughter, Tami Timmons; siblings Ida Morgan and Elvira Neblade both of Leesburg, FL and Louise Crummer of NJ
Along with her parents, Maeretha was preceded in death by son, Gary L. Williams on July 19, 2009.
Services will be held at The True Church House of Prayer, 737 Buckeye, Orrville, Wednesday October 14 at 11:00 AM with Pastors Robert Golson and Nathan Poole officiating. Interment will follow at Sherwood Memorial Gardens.
Friends will be received on Tuesday from 6-8 pm at the McIntire, Davis & Greene Funeral Home, Wooster.
