GILBERT, AZ – Margaret B. Huck, 77, of Gilbert, AZ passed away on Wednesday, May 23, 2018 at her home.
She was born August 11, 1940, in Syracuse, NY, the daughter of Richard and Fay Brooks.   She married Ludwig Huck on August 29, 1959. Ludwig died January 31, 2018.
She attended St. Lawrence University before meeting Lud, moved to Syracuse, and started a family. She dedicated her energy and passion to creating a rich and loving environment for her family and to volunteering with several organizations.   She owned and ran a gift shop while living in Texas,  managed multiple family moves across the country, and was the wind beneath Lud’s wings. She and Lud chose to spend their retirement years in Wooster, where they made many close and dear friends. She was kind, caring, and compassionate, not only to her family, but to all in the community. She was deeply loved and will be sorely missed.
In April, Margaret moved to Arizona to be closer to family. While sad to leave Wooster, she was excited with the new environment, meeting her new neighbors, and was happy, looking forward to making a new home.
Surviving are her children, Matthew (Sharon) Huck of Gilbert, AZ and Daniel (Alison) Huck of Shrewsbury, MA; grandchildren, Brian, Emily and Christopher Huck and sisters-in-law, Mary Ellen Brooks and Gertrude Loch, along with several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Charles Brooks.
An interment service was celebrated at Valley Presbyterian Church, 6947 E McDonald Dr., Paradise Valley, AZ on Tuesday, May 29 2018 with Pastor David Turner officiating.
Wyman Cremation & Burial Chapel, 115 South Country Club Drive, Mesa, AZ and McIntire Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home, Wooster, OH are assisting the family.
