Margaret Elizabeth Campbell, 88, of Wooster died Friday November 13, 2009 at her home. Margaret was born in Mountain City, TN on May 23, 1921 to Millard and Beulah (Forrester) Owens, now deceased.
Margaret married Ray D. Campbell in February 1945. Ray D. Campbell, Sr. died April 24, 1984. Margaret had worked at Wayne County National Bank and Wooster Community Hospital in housekeeping before retiring in 1986.
Margaret?s greatest enjoyments were yard sales, flowers and her grandchildren.
She is survived by one son of Wooster, Robert Gene and his children Tammy, Mike, Aaron, Bobby and Kimberly and his grandchildren; daughters Barbara A. (Joe) Baker of Wooster, their children Gregory, his son Zachary, Lisa and her children Stephanie, Samantha, Stephen and Christopher whom stayed and took care of Margaret to the end, Kevin and Julie Baker (Joe?s children from a previous marriage); Gale E. (Ronald Sr.) Tawny of Orrville and their children Ronald Jr. of Wooster, his two daughters Jaime and Tabatha of Orrville also grandson Gavin, grandson Frank V. (Jill) Brittany and Katelyn of Wooster; brother Paul Owens of Mountain City, TN and sister Betty Roop of Damascas, VA.
Along with her husband and parents, Margaret was preceded in death by sons Frank V. Sr. in 2007 and Ray D. Campbell, Jr. in 2008; brothers John, Fred, Virgil, Carl and Ray Owens and sister Thelma Crowder.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday November 18 at 10AM at McIntire, Davis and Greene Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster. Interment will follow at Sherwood Memorial Gardens. Calling hours will be Tuesday from 5-7 pm at the funeral home. Contributions may be directed to Hospice and Palliative Care of Greater Wayne County, 2525 Back Orrville Rd, Wooster, OH 44691.
The family would like to extend a special Thank You to the visiting nurses from Hospice who were with Margaret to the end and helped the family through their loss.
