WOOSTER – Margie Marie CORNELIUS, 76, of Wooster passed away Wednesday, May 20, 2009 in Wooster Community Hospital.
She was born January 25, 1933 in Wooster the daughter of Clem Ray and Helen Wolfe Miller.
She was a homemaker. Margie was a member of the First Church of God on Akron Road where she was a past president of the Sunday School and was a member of various church groups. She enjoyed playing eucher and was a member of the 500 group and the Red Hat Society.
Surviving are her children Kenneth W. (Karen) Cornelius of Orrville, Kathy (Charles) Hartzler of Wooster and Pat (Randy) Agler of Wooster, a niece who was like a daughter, Deb Duncan,, Grandchildren Brett Cornelius of Wooster, Amy Cornelius of Akron, Jeremy Hartzler of Wooster, Matthew (Brittany) Hartzler of Wooster, Ryan Agler and Nathan Agler of Wooster, Step grandchildren Brandon Martin and Jonathan Martin of Orrville; and a sister, Donna McCoy of Shreve.
Margie was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Harold W. Cornelius, in 2005 whom she married June 5, 1951.
Friends will be received at the at the McIntire, Davis & Greene Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster on Thursday evening from 6-8:00 P.M. and 1 hour prior to the service at the church.
Services will be held at First Church of God on Akron Road on Friday, May 22, 2009 at 11:00 AM with Rev’s O.J. Thompson and Ken Thomas officiating. Interment will follow in the Sherwood Memorial Gardens.
