WOOSTER “ Marilyn J. Kranz, 82, of Wooster passed away on Monday, May 9, 2020 at the Shady Lawn Nursing Home in Dalton.
She was born April 3, 1940 in Newark the daughter of Adin and Mary Colville Stickle.   Her husband, Richard A. Kranz preceded her in death on July 28, 2010.
Marilyn was a homemaker and had been a dietary cook and coordinator at Head Start, had been on the Mom ™s program at the Gault Learning Center and had been a Hospice volunteer.   She enjoyed crafting, watching game shows, her favorites were Let ™s Make a Deal and the Price is Right.   She was a member of Grace Church.
Surviving are her children Keith Kranz and Annette (Dan) Schaffter both of Wooster and Robert (Josie) Kranz of Millersburg; grandchildren Jason, Christina, Erica, Jessica, Hailee and Breella; siblings Ellen (Jack) Bowers of Sylvania, Harriett Steffes of California, Dorothy Hanlon of Newark, Donna (Phil) Shipley of Newark.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
There will be no calling hours.   Inurnment will be held at the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in Seville at a later date.
McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster is assisting the family.
