WOOSTER “ Marrian Koch, 92, of Wooster passed away on Friday, November 8, 2019 at Brookdale Assisted Living.
She was born August 14, 1927 in Cleveland the daughter of Anthony and Anna Feskanin Nemunaitis.   She married Alfred E. Koch on October 7, 1950.   He preceded her in death on September 7, 2019.
Marrian retired in 1993 after 20 plus years as Personnel/Human Resources Secretary for ODOT in Ashland.   She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church and a member of the Ladies Guild at St. Stephens.   She was a volunteer for 14 years for Meals on Wheels, enjoyed gardening, tennis and was a Cleveland Sports fan.
Surviving are her children, Tim (Michele) Koch of Orrville, Laurie (Marc) Heffner of Olympia, Wash., Patricia (James) Burns of Wooster, Tom (Terrie) Koch of Wooster, Steven (Gretchen) Koch of Columbus and Christine (Steven) Shepherd of Lakeville; grandchildren, Tyler (Nicole), Wayne (Brianna) and Jason Heffner, Michelle Burns, Lauren (Tyler) Chaplin, Katie Burns, Andrew (Navya) Koch, Taylor Koch, and Rachel Koch; 3 great-grandchildren and a sister, Barbara Kessler of Naples, Florida.
In addition to her husband, Alfred, she was preceded in death by her parents, grandchildren, Gabe Koch and Laura Koch and a brother Anthony Nemunaitis.
Friends will be received 2 hours prior to the 11:00 a.m. service on Saturday, November 16, 2019 at St. Mary Catholic Church, 527 Beall Avenue with Rev. Stephen Moran as Celebrant.   Burial will follow in St. Mary Cemetery.
McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster is assisting the family.

  1. My thoughts go out to your family as you gather and reflect on memories of you Mother and Grandmother. My Mother passed 10 years ago. I still think of her often.
