WOOSTER – Marvin Carl BRUECK, Jr., 78, of Wooster passed away Thursday, April 23, 2009 in the Hospice Care Center Hospital in Akron.
He was born August 30, 1930 in Decatur, Indiana the son of Marvin Carl and Florence Brueck, Sr.
He was the former owner and operator of a Sohio Service Station. He had served in the Ohio National Guard from 1948 to 1951 and was a member of the Golden Recliners Camping Club.
Surviving are a daughter, Wendy (Monte) Lewis of Smyrna, NC and a son Scott Brueck of Millersburg; 5 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandchild ; sisters, Mary (Boyd) Crum of Phoenix, AZ and Betty (Johnny) Thompson of MI and a brother, Al Brueck of Florida.
Marvin was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Juanita M. Limbacher Brueck, on March 10, 2007 to whom he was married 57 years; a son Brett Brueck on May 14, 2008.
Friends will be received at the at the McIntire, Davis & Greene Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster on Friday evening, April 24, 2009, from 6-8:00 P.M.
Graveside Services will be held at the Smithville Cemetery on Saturday, April 25, 2009 at 11:00 A.M.
Contributions may be made to the Hospice and Palliative Care Visiting Nurse Service, 3358 Ridgewood Road, Akron, OH 44333..
