WOOSTER “ Mary Jane Carson, 90, of Wooster passed away on Saturday, July 8, 2017 at her home.
She was born April 9, 1927 in Wayne Co., the daughter of Paris R. and Hilda L. Graber Bupp.
She was a giving member of the Central Christian Church in many ways, including volunteering her time and talents.   She loved playing cards and belonged to several card clubs including her Friday bridge club.   Mary Jane enjoyed her monthly lunches with her Wooster High School classmates of 1945.   For several years, she volunteered at Boys Village (Village Network).   As a part time receptionist for Sheer Professionals, she met many friends.
She is survived by daughters, Judith Murray, Sharon Howard, grandson, J. Christopher Murray and a sister, Eleanor Roth and nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, J. Donald Carson, a sister Marjorie Petty and brother, Donald Bupp.
Friends will be received at the McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster on Thursday, July 13, 20017 from 6-8:00 p.m.
Services will be held on Friday, July 14, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. at the Central Christian Church, 407 N. Market St., Wooster with Rev. J. Alexander officiating.   Burial will follow in Sherwood Memorial Gardens.
