WOOSTER – Mary L. Bunt, 70, of Wooster passed away on Thursday, May 25, 2017 at LifeCare Hospice in Wooster following a brief illness.

Mary was born August 18, 1946 in Wooster, the daughter of Victor G. and Bertha Rake Bunt. 

She graduated in 1964 from Wooster High School and the Wooster Business College.  Mary was employed for over 33 years at Rubbermaid.  She enjoyed swimming and spending time with her nieces and nephews.

She is survived by her sisters, Sandra (Walter) Bowers, Rosalie (Freeman) Yutzy and Nancy Amstutz all of Wooster and brothers, Victor Bunt of Westlake and William Bunt of Rittman and a brother-in-law, James Winn of New Jersey.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Betty Winn.

There will be no calling hours and private family services will be held.

McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster is assisting the family.

The family would like to thank the doctors and staff at Wooster Community Hospital and LifeCare Hospice for all their care.

I have many happy memories of Mary, her kindness and her joyful spirit from our R days. I'm saddened to lose another one of my 'cruise mates'. My condolences to Mary's family.
